Meet Monique Richards
Monique is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Trauma and Grief Therapist, EMDR Practitioner and NSW Victims Support Counsellor.
Her clinical practice focuses on the intersection of trauma, grief and mental health. Her professional experience spans public mental health, trauma recovery, domestic and family violence, suicide bereavement and humanitarian settings.
Integrating evidence-based psychological, somatic and trauma-focused approaches, Monique provides individualised treatment that prioritises emotional safety, nervous system regulation and the processing of traumatic experiences.
As a Medicare Better Access provider and Approved NSW Victims Support Counsellor, Monique accepts referrals from GPs and psychiatrists, as well as referrals for eligible NSW Victims Support counselling.
